Lost power to stbd engine last trip due to 2 bad battery cells. Throttle position sensor is stopping stbd from throttling up. Swapped ecms and throttle to port and both are fine. Changed synch switch and no change. Tested wires to controls no issue seen. Its glendinning throttle with cat controls.

Hello Jason - sorry to hear about your difficulty. As Ralph indicates, it would help to know which version of our product you have on this boat. A pic or two of the engine compartment components would do it for a start. You can send it to "service@glendinningprods.com", and copy to me "j***g <at>glendinningprods.com" (use "johng" instead of the asterisked name - just trying to keep the spam devils at bay) and I'll get a service guy to respond. Hello Jason - I just talked with the technician who you spoke with yesterday (Bruce) and helped you with troubleshooting. Bruce tells me that he confirmed with you that our mechanical actuators are moving, that we are moving BOTH engine throttles. This would indicate that our controls are doing the job they are supposed to. He also had you change the TPS connections from one engine to the other - that when you did that that the starboard engine worked fine (with the port TPS) but that the port engine didn't work (with the starboard TPS). At least that was his understanding from yesterday's phone call with you. Bottom line - if we are moving the Caterpillar TPS units (Throttle Position Sensors), that's all that we can do. It's clearly a CAT issue.

Thanks for the help. Yes, the captain has been working with yall. Still not resolved. We also had another issue sat. Both engines and generators are starving for fuel. Fuel filters are clean but its sucking filters tight. If theres trash in the lines (all 3), you would think you would see it in filters. So now we have 2 very odd issues going on and 2 tournaments the next 2 weeks..... good ol boats!
Fuel hose is collapsing and it’s the interior of the fuel line. You have a tank vent issue and fuel supply lines need replacing
Thought good ole Vikings use copper lines. Could be just a few feet of hose here & there to replace. Now, Tank inter-connect hoses could be fun. I did have a fill hose start to fall apart on the inside a few years ago. If it is rubber, a lil at a time.. Your Racors should catch it fine. Lets get your controls working. One step at a time.
