Hello, I'm looking for a recommendation for a wireless remote control module that would run on 24vdc and control a swim platform. I looked into the Cable Master remote, which is exactly what I'm looking for, but that only runs on 12vdc. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
Hi there, Did you look at the wireless control modules used on windlasses like Lewmar or Anchorlift? I think these should work. Tell us what you find. Thanks
Hey Alfred, The Lewmar remote does look like it'll work. I like that the fob has an on/off function, is waterproof and floats. Perfect for taking along on the jetski, etc. The anchorlift isn't available until next year and only in 12vdc. Thanks again for your help
Hi, Glad you found what you seek. If you don't mind keeping this thread alive by sharing images of the set and installation. Thank you and good luck. Alf
Hello, I did go with the Lewmar setup. One aspect that became an issue is that it has a max of 3 amps that it can handle. The solenoids on the hydraulic pack run at about 2.5A. And so far I'm good. But... On the down activation side of the platform you've also got the safety latch solenoid drawing 5A. So I had to install a relay to avoid maxing out the module. I've attached a schematic in case anyone is interested. It's fairly easy and straightforward. Thanks
