Good luck with that ... there is no way you will make potable water at 100psi

If you believe that... you believe you kept your plan and your doctor :)

Unless filtering saltwater is different and needs more pressure. It's not much different than using a RO in your home. I would curious if the same system would work on a boat. Just throwing out some ideas.

O I never believed anything that man said lol. Still don't!!!

Right need 800 psi or more for saltwater. I think Knight is talking about RO setup for freshwater for household use..
    RO pressures:
    Freshwater 50-225 psi
    Ground/Brackish 100-600 psi
    Saltwater 800-1200 psi

Yeah you probably need high pressure for high gph. O well I thought I was on to something.

High pressure is required to separate the fresh water molecule from the salt water through a permeable membrane.

You are, I recently learned the difference in RO pressures when I was trying to figure out how to make spotless water to wash a boat without spending a bunch of money on a marine watermaker.

De-ionization or a D.I. system can be home made from a 3"x 24 '" schedule 80 PVC pipe with end caps , 3/4" male and female hose fittings in each end & a suitable plastic media and rock salt. You can make a reliable & rechargeable system for spot free water for $75.00 or less if you do a bit of home work design & parts wise.
