Hi all! This is my first post, and I've been viewing the threads to try and get as much information as I can on Trumpy yachts. You've all been a great help. I am a summer intern at an institution whose name I would not like to put out there at this time, simply because I don't want their name associated with anything. But, they have charged me this summer with cataloging their stock of Trumpy yacht plans that were donated to them by Johan Trumpy, and to a lesser extent, researching the yachts he designed and built throughout his firms entire existence, from 1909 under Mathis Yachts, to 1972 in Annapolis. At the moment, I'm stuck on contract 209, originally named Arminia, later renamed Stella Polaris, and allegedly being rebuilt under the name Vallatra Allegre. I've already attempted to send a message to SeaEric because he seems to be the reigning expert in the matter, but if you have information, and better yet, pictures, please let me know! And if you have questions on what I'm doing, feel free to ask.

O/N 229834 She was contract #209. Built in 1930 for Gen. W.W. Atterbury. Later named Stella Polaris, 110' steel construction which was unusual. Current name is Nostalgia, hailing port Reno, NV. Owner is NOSTALGIA LLC 318 CALIFORNIA AVE #742 P O BOX 5337 CHULA VISTA, CA 91912. She is current in USCG documentation. I was there on Friday, milling around in my spare time. I would like to have gone on Saturday but found myself busy at home.
What would you lime to know about her. I had a contract on her last january and i amassed her history during that time.
She served in ww2 as a mine sweeper in the panal canal sector afyer being the family yacht of railroad tycoon william atherton. Later she was turned into a diner cruise boat in mexico and i have hundreds of imaages of her and an inspection report from nine months sgo including refit images of her ipened up in encansda mexico. abmessick, Do you remember if you saw any houseboat plans for Lanai? (The 1911 one, not 1928.) Or anything else for her? She was built for Arthur Curtiss and Harriet James. Thanks for any info you can provide. Denise
