    This video was taken from a Pilotage Mothership. This big boat (Omar) is pretty agile. Stopping distance, acceleration and turn radius, not bad at all. One can tell, there is no china or crystal glasses on the tables jet. And those sea trail crews are used to drive frigates, corvettes and PT boats during their sea trails :).

    I have heard the gross tonnage is around 15500

    Very nice find on the video! Although she seems like she is going slow it is doing pretty good in the rough seas

    Al-said is 15,850 gross tonnage, Peter Lurssen states in a on line video that project Omar is the largest yacht in the world by gross tonnage

    I have heard from various sources that OMAR will be delivered tomorrow (14-05-2016). I can't wait to see her in the mediterranean!

    She just left Gibraltar and is on her way to Cyprus. I was expecting she would set sail to the IYCA Antibes.

    I have a question for you. Those 6 large windows on the side. What could they be ? in fact, they aren't all windows. Some of them look like balcony's. Are there cabins behind them? what do you think?
