  1. Canados 888 EVO "Ursus V"
Italian yard Canados Yachts completed and delivered the first hull in their 888 EVO series to its owner. The yacht is now called "Ursus V" and her owner has been spending good time onboard in her first month cruising around specific parts of the Mediterranean like Malta, Corsica and Cote d’Azur . The yacht is due to be displayed at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
  2. Canados recently released photos of the yacht showcasing the sportive exterior as well as the first detailed images of the luxurious interior. The Ursus V is the first hull in the 888 EVO line from Canados and is the new direction the yard as taken in terms of replacing the Canados 86 model. The yacht is designed entirely inhouse with custom interiors. A mixture of washed satin Oak and high gloss marquetry of Ebony of Macassar gives her a modern art-deco style. This can be clearly seen in the main saloon below.
  3. Accommodation onboard is on the lower deck with the full beam master taking advantage of the full width of the vessel at the midships position. The decor in the master echoes tones and materials found throughout the yacht. It is spacious and the master bath showcases a bathroom with double vanity in Striato Olimpico Marble that is one open vessel divided into two by a clever drain.
  4. The best exterior space onboard is the sundeck without doubt. It is spacious, open and comfortable. The forward area is dedicated to the secondary helm position as well as a sunpadded area for guests. The midships region under the hardtop has been set out for al-fresco dining while the aft is fitted with stylish sofa chairs and a small table. The hardtop has a retractable fabric section that can be rolled back automatically to make the space feel even more open.
  5. Performance wise, she is powered by twin Caterpillar C32 ACERT @ 1,925 hp, the 888 Evo is capable of a cruising speed of 27-knots for a top end in excess of 32-knots pulling from around 9,000 LT of fuel. The aft area has a garage that is capable of fitting a tender of 4-meters but a Williams 385 turbojet is onboard. On the hydraulic swim-platform is space for the yacht's PWC.
