The present 46-meter, known as project 10217, will be powered by two CAT 3512Bs and present a top speed of 17-knots. Ocean Alexander 90-foot skylounge motoryacht, Hull 12
Ocean Alexander released photos showing the progress of their latest Ocean Alexander 90-foot motoryacht. This time, this hull is number 12 and features a Skylounge. The Ocean Alexander 90 feels almost native to the water. Her graceful bearing and hushed opulence are the first things you notice. Lingering behind her obvious splendor is over 30 years of hard-driving, daring Ocean Alexander obsession.
Hull 12 boasts slightly updated styling compared to the others and has design by Evan Marshall. The standard OA 90-footer is really 92-feet on the LOA. she features a 22.5-foot beam and a rather slim draft of just 5.65-feet minimum. Otam building 30.5-meter sportsyacht
Italian yard Otam is presently working on the construction for a 30.5-meter sportsyacht with an impressive top speed. The yacht is now available for sale and is expected to be be available for delivery by 2015. Alberto Mancini is responsible for the exterior design of this Otam performance yacht while Achille Salvagni has been tasked to create the interior design.
Speaking of that performance earlier, how does 47-knots sound on a 100-foot yacht? Impressive, we know but all this power to produce this astounding top speed has to come from somewhere. Try triple MTU 2,600 HP engines connected to Arneson surface drives. One thing to note, the triple engine configuration is actually the option, the standard is twin MTU 2,600s which will then reduce the top speed to around 40-knots.
Although she is a fast-paced yacht, the interior is being designed to make the interior as comfortable as possible...
Numarine 40-meter Explorer Motoryacht Design
Turkish builder Numarine is usually known for building composite yachts just over 100 feet but clearly their future prospects are not ending there. They recently unveiled a new design for an Explorer-type motoryacht in the 40-meter range than will feature a steel hull.
The design itself has been drawn up by Turkish designer Can Yalman. When you see the term Explorer that usually connotes long distance cruising at a slow leisurely pace. You can expect that mode of operation with the Numarine 40-meter XP Explorer. She is envisioned to be powered by twin Cat C32 ACERT marine diesel engines. Taking her time she should be able to easily cruise 4,000 nautical miles before having to refuel.
As is the trend these days for owners to have the benefit of a rugged design that is utility, go-anywhere but still very luxurious and comfortable, the Numarine 40M XP takes accommodation to heart...

Powered by twin 3,800 HP MTU engines and equipped with gyro-stabilisers, Galatea is the first in a new breed of Heesen superyachts. Galatea will be delivered to her Owners by the end of March 2014...

Using the above-mentioned powerplant the 5th hull will be expected to hit a maximum speed of 27.5-knots. Cruising speed will be a couple knots slower at 23.5-knots.
The design is not surprisingly by Studio Zuccon International Project in collaboration with AYT&D. As usual, there are a few updates to the fifth hull. There is a slightly restyled design compared to the other members in the class. For instance, there is a hardtop that shields the sun deck from the sun rays. Another feature is the rearrangement of the main saloon to the personal whims of the owner...
