The first fully custom-built superyacht from CCN -Cerri Cantieri Navali- was launched in Italy yesterday. She is a 50-meter high-performing yacht called "Elsea". Studio Vafiadis is responsible for the vibrant interior of Elsea while the exterior design is the work of Studio Bacigalupo. Couach 2300 FLY Hull 5 Ready For Delivery
The fifth hull in the Couach 2300 FLY series was launched towards the end of March and already the craft is approach delivery status. The yacht has been built by a first time owner who reportedly loved a friend's Couach Yacht and made the move to own one themselves. The latest 2300 FLY has a customized interior to suit the new owner's tastes including a different arrangement for guest accommodation. The first unit in the new SW96 mini series has been launched in South Africa. This is where the Southern Wind shipyard is located. The yacht was launched for an avid yachtsman who named the yacht "Sorceress". They are expected to have the yacht compete in races and in fact Sorceress is carded to race in the 2017 Maxi Yacht Rolex Race. She is also expected to be put on display at this year's Monaco Yacht Show (MYS)...
"Home" Christened At Heesen Yachts
Yesterday Dutch builder Heesen used Facebook to reveal a few photos of the christening of their latest build. The yacht in question was previously known under project name 'NOVA'. However, as we can see in the photos, the yacht is now called "Home". She is described at the world's first Fast Displacement yacht with Hybrid propulsion and with her all-aluminium construction, Home is expected to be very efficient. Power will be coming from dual low lower power MTU 12V 2000 M61s but that is her diesel fed generation of power. Home is a hybrid so she also combines electric motors to power the yacht to a useful speed of 9-knots alone using that power source. If Home wants to travel quietly or extend her range she can run on her electric motors and only burn around 12 gallons per hour (GPH). At 12 knots, she should see a range of over 3,700 nautical miles...
47-meter "Ruya" Ready For Ownership
Since Heesen launched the 47-meter yacht dubbed "Ruya" she has been put through her paces in the North Sea and satisfactorily completed sea trials. Italian design firm Nuvolari Lenard teamed up with CRN Yachts to produce the exterior lines for the yard's latest creation, Hull 137. The 62-meter superyacht is presently under construction at the yard's facilities. The arrangement onboard calls for the master suite to be on the upper deck and other guest cabins on the lower deck. The lower deck will house five VIP grade cabins for ten guests . This full displacement yacht is being built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. At this point a 16 or 17-knot speed is the top speed although the particular engine set up is not available...

Second Numarine 105HT Delivered
Numarine has delivered the second 105HT. She is the second of two that were launched within the same time period. The first hull launched and then was delivered to her European owner and was seen cruising in the Mediterranean region. The second has now been handed over and was recently seen cruising in the Phuket, Thailand area which goes with the original plan for the Far Eastern owner. New Horizon RP110 Nearing Completion
Taiwan-based yacht manufacturer Horizon Yachts is presently working on completing another RP110 model. In fact the yacht is nearing completion and is expected to be done in a couple months. This is now the fourth unit in the RP110 model for Horizon Yachts.
