80-meter "Excellence" Launches At Abeking & Rasmussen
Over the weekend, German custom superyacht builder Abeking & Rasmussen launched their latest superyacht. Since the vessel started construction, the design has been on the watch-list of everyone in the industry simply because it is different from the main lot of yachts being completed. She was built as hull 6505 and sometimes referred to as Project 'Intensity'. One of the more distinguishing features of this vessel is its reverse bow. We have not seen a complete reverse bow (on large builds) perhaps since M/Y "A" and M/Y "Predator"...
32-meter "Jangada 2" Launches At Van der Valk
To top their innovative BeachClub 600 launch recently Van der Valk just launched the 32-meter "Jangada 2" from their building hall. This is their fifth vessel in their custom Raised Pilot House series and at 32-meters is the largest of all five. The other four were the 27.21-meter "The Next Episode", 24.99-meter "Jangada", the 26-meter "Forum"and the 26-meter "Nicostasia". As you can tell Jangada 2 has been built for a repeat client of the yard. Van der Valk says that you can actually build the custom Raised Pilot House yacht with them up to 40-meters so there is still room for you to go even larger than Jangada 2...
F50 Launched By Princess Yachts
The latest model to be added to Princess Yacht's F-Line is the F50 and the first unit in the new model has been launched. It is the typical flybridge yacht with a secondary helm station. Additionally there is a U-shaped seating area on the port side and to aft a large sofa and table. Turkish builder Mazu Yachts has the Mazu 82 under construction and now it is time to give an idea as to how the interior is going to materialize. The interior design is by Tanju Özelgin, a Turkish designer and follows a modern contemporary look. Clean lines give way to a neutral to darker colour palette. Dutch builder Van der Heijden launched their latest planing yacht in the new Phantom series. This one is 24-meters or around 79-feet. This yard typically builds yachts 12-meters to 32-meters. Build Starts On Rosetti RSY 38 EXP
