Yesterday (March 31) was the launching of the second unit in the new Benetti Oasis 40 line. The 40-meter motor yacht bears the name "Joy". Italian yard Baglietto has a new order for another superfast yacht or at least it appears that way. The last article YF wrote on a Superfast Baglietto yacht under construction at this yard was for a 42-meter vessel with delivery in mid-2022. Now there is news from the yard of a Superfast 41-meter that is slated for delivery in 2023. Being built from aluminum as Hull 10242, the design is by Francesco Paszkowski on both the exterior and interior. First Hybrid-Solar 26XP Delivered By Numarine
This delivery from Numarine's flourishing 26XP line might be their 12th unit overall but it marks the first hybrid-solar specimen. The exterior is still designed by Can Yalman and looks the same way as the standard 26XP but the keen eye will notice the extra-long hardtop on the aft of the radar arch. A new model has been released by the Holterman yard. She is called the X-54 and in a press release the yard detailed the latest member of the X-line. Latest member because the yard already unveiled the X-105 since March 2020 and at the time they did suggest that two smaller designs were 'in development'. The design of the X-54 is by Bernd Weel Design and showcases a modern and sleek profile. Naval Architecture is by Kitty van der Kamp Design. New Tradition and Explorer Designs Surface At Cheoy Lee
Cheoy Lee's yacht division has been hard at work behind the scenes developing a new range of yachts. The yard has added new members to the Explorer and Tradition families and the designs to these can be seen on their website. Cheoy Lee has partnered with Overing Yacht Designs to pull together the exterior designs for the new yachts while Sylvia Bolton Design has penned the interiors. The Tradition family is joined by the Cheoy Lee 118 Tradition. This vessel has a five-cabin layout as the standard configuration featuring a main deck master suite with two twins and two doubles on the lower deck for ten (10) guests. A country-style kitchen, salon and master suite are on the main deck. The skylounge and bridge are on the upper deck with a smaller sun deck fitted with jacuzzi and al-fresco dining. Italian yard Baglietto recently signed their latest yacht which is a member of the DOM (Domus-home) line of yachts. This time it is a DOM133 which is the 40-meter variant of the line and this makes it the second one to be sold. The second hull in the new 50-meter model from Italian yard Riva has hit the water today. She is called "Fifty" and has similar paint and finish work as the first hull in the model, named "Race". The design internally and externally is by Officina Italiana Design.
