67-meter Project 'Marenello' Signed At CRN
The CRN yard today announced a new build just as they continue to have their hands full with a number of current projects, as well as new contracts. So far the yard is building at least four superyachts that we know of. The largest is a 72-meter known as hull 139, the next is 62-meter hull 138, followed by 60-meter 141 and finally 52-meter 142. Scandinavian tender builder Windy boats are best known for their express open tenders and dayboats with a range from the small W27 Solano all the way up to SR Line SR60. Many yachts do employ some of these tenders as chase boats particularly from the SR52 and SR60 models. German custom superyacht builder Abeking & Rasmussen (A&R) are updating the industry on what they have going on at their facilities. Notably, their largest yacht, the 118.2-meter Project 6507 is in the latter outfitting stages of build and is set to launch not too long from now with delivery in 2022. The yard has not divulged alot of information regarding this project. French designer Joseph Dirand has penned both the exterior and interior in collaboration with A&R. Feadship has launched another yacht and this time it is the 55-meter explorer superyacht "Shinkai". She was under construction as hull 708 and built for an experienced owner who will no doubt take her on long-range missions across the seas. A new tri-deck range has been initiated at the Aegean Yachts company called the M25 Explorer. The first hull is actually under construction utilizing a steel hull. Turkish builder Turquoise Yachts is building ever larger yachts and the latest is called Project 'Vento', an 87-meter superyacht with H2 Yacht Design. Of course this is not the first time H2 Yacht Design has worked with Turquoise Yachts. In fact, this is their ninth collaboration having first collaborated 17 years ago. At 285-feet long this vessel stretches around 13-meters across, creating numerous opportunities to add true superyacht amenities onboard. One of those features is the large pool on the aft main deck measuring 21-feet (6.5-meters) long.
