"Ti Voglio Tanto Bene" from ISA
The second launch for ISA in 2007.
"TVTB" (an acronym for "I love you" in Italian) is not the prolongation of the recent Valentine’s Day but the name of the new mega-yacht launched by ISA early this week. This marvelous 41.40 meter planing maxi-yacht gracefully glided on to the water under the yard staff’s eyes, with a simple but traditional ceremony.
This fibreglass yacht is further evolution of the ISA 133 series, the line built up to the third motor yacht, which will be named ISA 136...

Nordia yachts to combine class with sophistication
Van Dam has announced the development of a new range of semi-custom Nordia motoryachts. A beautiful woman may cleverly decide to change her entire personality when she arrives into altered circumstances. A fine quality yacht, also, may start out as one entity, then transform into another. That, in essence, is the story of Mustang Sally, Trinity’s 157’ Tri-Deck originally launched as Lady Florence.

Fairline Boats debuted the new Squadron 68, a larger version of the Squadron 66, at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show on October 25th, 2006. The new 68' boasts a revised design, increased accommodations and truly up-to-date elements.
One of the most notable attributes of the new 68' is a completely open floor plan with virtually no separation between salon, galley and pilothouse. Taking cues from modern home design, Fairline is using freestanding sofas, chairs & tables that can moved about as desired. This arrangement results in the feel of greater interior volume, plus it can be easily customized as the yacht changes ownership.
Taking modern design to the next step, the helm and instrument panel appear to be a study in automotive ergonomics. Unlike traditional marine and Euro-style helms that have become so common, Fairline has created a truly contemporary helm mixing wood & brushed aluminum panels in a thoroughly modern mix...

Rolls-Royce Introduces Revolutionary Retractable Stabilizers
The Best of Both Worlds!
Rolls-Royce is developing a new concept that significantly reduces the roll of a motor yacht when stationary by increasing the effectiveness of the folding fin stabilizers normally used for underway stabilization. The system uses a different fin profile and an advanced control system that keeps the fins ‘active’ when stationary, maximizing their effect in reducing ship motion. Scale model tests carried out at the Maritime Research Institute Netherlands (MARIN) in Wageningen December 2005 on a large motor yacht have proven the effectiveness of the design concept...
Hatteras Introduces New 72 Motor Yacht
New Design Features Traditional Lines, Resin-Infused Hull
New Design Features Traditional Lines, Resin-Infused Hull
NEW BERN, N.C., Sept. 20, 2006 – The new 72 Motor Yacht from Hatteras Yachts features traditional exterior lines with subtle contemporary styling cues for an overall effect that fits into today’s marketplace while easily standing the test of time. This unique model features a wider salon than comparable motor yachts on the market, yet it still retains side-deck access that makes the 72 Motor Yacht perfect for the owner/operator.
CONSTRUCTION:
Built in Hatteras’ main facility in New Bern, N.C., the 72 Motor Yacht features a resin-infused hull, rather than one built up of layers of hand-laid fiberglass. The automated resin-infusion process produces a more uniform hull thickness from one hull to the next, as well as the most ideal glass-to-resin ratio...
