Burger Boat, Seaton develop new design for Ice Class Expedition
Plans have been recently announced for the development of a new design for an Ice-classed Expedition Yacht. The work is being done between Burger Boat and Seaton Yachts. Burger Boat were chosen to build the new Seaton Expedition Eighty-Three to ICE CLASS 1D standards at Burger’s shipyard in Manitowoc, WI, USA.

Christensen successful in the sale of new 43-meter superyacht
Christensen Shipyards has announced the signing of a contract for the first Custom 43-meter Series project. With a massive beam of over 29-feet and it's international tonnage of approximately 480 GRT, this luxury 142-foot vessel has a total interior square footage of 4,520. Twelve guests will be comfortably accommodated in five gracious staterooms each with an ensuite bathroom adorned with custom finishes. It will feature a main deck Master Suite, two VIP staterooms, two forward convertible guest cabins, and an elevator servicing all decks.
The exterior square footage is 3,753, providing abundant opportunities for entertaining and basking in the sun along with ample room designated for a touch-and-go helipad and toys. The sun deck will include a full height bar, Jacuzzi tub, day head and lavish lounge areas...
New 100' sailing yacht designed by Rob Humphreys and Rhoades Young Design
A new 100-foot concept for a sailing yacht developed by Rhoades Young Design in combination with Rob Humphreys Yacht Design is a beautiful performance cruiser with the emphasis on relaxation as well as lifestyle at sea. On profile view, the new 100-foot concept yacht distinctly shows off her contemporary appearance with twin deck-houses. A secluded aft beach is accessible directly through glazed doors to the aft cabin, whilst a sunken cockpit is inviting and sheltered at the same time.
A nice feature especially for a sailing yacht are the near 360-degree vistas. It gets better with drop-down bulwarks that can be lowered. There is also another cockpit that is situated forward of the main house for secluded privacy. The design has been thought out with the ability to provide luxury and relaxation in every aspect...
77-meter "Smeralda" launched by Hanseatic Marine
The 77-meter superyacht "Smeralda" has been successfully launched by Australian yard Hanseatic Marine. The new yacht was launched two days ago on 17th March. She is in the same class as two previous luxury yachts by this yard.
Following in similar design to the 73.3-meter luxury yacht built as "SilVer" (now called "Rabdan") and the 73.3-meter superyacht built as "Silver Zwei" (now called "Dragonfly"), the Smeralda superyacht is the third and most advanced vessel in the amazing SilVer class designed by world renowned designer Espen Oeino. Her interior is by Vain Interiors.
Smeralda will be offering among the best luxury can offer with accommodation in an owner´s suite that boasts lounge as well as large private deck. Additionally there are three VIP-type double cabins as well as two twin cabins with Pullman berths. Furthermore there are four twin cabins...
Couach Yachts soft launches 50-meter "La Pellegrina"
The new top of the line from Couach has been revealed. She is a 50-meter superyacht bearing the name "La Pellegrina". The new yacht features exterior design by the Couach´s in-house team. The interior design has been done by Jean Pierre Fantini.
Fully built in Kevlar® Carbon® by infusion process and developed on a military patrol hull design the Couach luxury yacht La Pellegrina is expected to have impressive performance among which a top speed of 28-knots and also possess the ability to corss the Atlantic Ocean. This will be possible via her 2 X MTU 20 V 4000 M-93 engines.
Six cabins should allow for twelve guests and ten crew will work onboard. La Pellegrina is expected to be launched on the 8th of April 2012 in Gujan Mestras, and will be delivered to her owner end of May in the Port of St Tropez during a special 3 days Couach show...
