Second Swan 115-foot sailing yacht sold​

The new Swan 115-foot Flush Deck model is off and running with the recent sale of the second hull in the series. The performance sailing yacht is expected to be equally as good for ocean sailing as well as regatta participation. The design of the Swan 115 is by the world-renowned naval architect German Frers. The interior is customizable by the owner. The master suite can either be situated forward or aft and three or four guest cabins cabins can be fitted onboard. Additionally, there is an option for a separate dining area.

Oyster to debut Oyster 825 sailing yacht at Dusseldorf​

This month, Oyster will be debuting their new Oyster 825 sailing yacht to the world at the Dusseldorf Boat Show. The racing-pedigree yacht bears lines drawn by Rob Humphreys with the styling of the Oyster in-house team. You can look at her as a upgrade from the Oyster 82. The first hull is yet to be delivered but will do so right after the Dusseldorf Show.

The model line doesn't stop at hull 1 either as there are a couple other hulls under construction already, all to launch in 2014. The first hull of the Oyster 825 series accommodates her owner and guests in three suites situated aft of the midships area. Fitzroy 37.5-meter FY17 fast cruising sloop to launch soon​

The latest sailing yacht from New Zealand builder Fitzroy Yachts will soon launch from their facilities. It will be a joyful moment for the owner of FY17, a fast cruising sloop and on the flipside it will be a sad time for some of the workers at Fitzroy, as some of the will be laid off. FY17 was built in all aluminum to a design by the world famed Dubois Naval Architects. The interior was done by Design Unlimited.

She will have some special features onboard like a raised saloon and a fixed bimini over the cockpit, which will have mechanically operated sliding windows. Her strong clean lines will make her a striking sight on the water, while her top performance levels will make her a worthy competitor on the regatta scene...

MondoMarine 54-meter superyacht construction progress​

Remember this yacht? In Build: MondoMarine 54-meter superyacht - YachtForums.Com Well construction on MondoMarine's 'M54' superyacht has been progressing with now both the hull and superstructure completed. That means the engines are onboard and works are focused on outfitting the plumming and wiring of the entire yacht. M54 is offered for sale and just recently MondoMarine drove her out of the indoor building hall to allow prosective clients to see the vessel in full light and open to have a better sense of her design and scale.

Prospective owners still have the ability to customize her interior to their tastes and M54 can be delivered from this point on in sixteen months. The layout can host five or six suites taking the guest berthing to ten to twelve...

First Horizon PC52 Power Cat Will Deliver to U.S. Owners May 2014 ​

The first Horizon PC52 power catamaran, the newest model in the Horizon PC series, recently reached a milestone in her construction when the hull, deckhouse, and flybridge were joined together, and Horizon is pleased to report she is scheduled to deliver on-time to her U.S. owners in late May. Before the official delivery, the PC52 will make her world debut with Horizon at the 2014 Taiwan International Boat Show, May 8th -11th in Kaohsiung.

Designed with an owner/operator in mind, the PC52 provides a comfortable operating platform and follows the styling and spacious layout of her bigger sister, the Horizon PC60; her 22’ (6.75M) beam offers a voluminous main deck as well as three guest accommodations below deck...

Update on the Selene 92 Ocean Explorer motoryacht​

One of the largest Selene Yachts is currently under build, the Selene 92, and is progressing well. A major milestone was reached recently with the deck being mated with the hull paving the way for the rest of the construction and fitting-out to take place. Expect this Ocean Explorer to be delivered by the Spring of 2014.

The 92 is the result of a multinational collaboration of designers and architects under Howard Chen's design team leadership. Howard Chen has worked closely with renowned Dutch architect Guido De Groot and a group of International consultants to develop a contemporary take on the long range yacht whilst capitalizing on builder Jet Tern Marine's high quality construction and reputation for experience and innovation in the displacement yacht sector...

Delta Marine 40.5-meter motoryacht "Onika" under construction​

American builder Delta Marine is presently working on a 40.5-meter motoryacht for a repeat client. The yacht has been confidential for a while now but a few details have emerged about this project recently. The owner's previous yacht was called "Onika" and was built by Delta Marine and now they have turned to the same yard to build them a bigger yacht utilizing the same name.

The new Onika is going to be 40.5-meters, some 7-meters longer than the predecessor. Also wider than the former yacht with a beam of just under 9-meters (8.8-meters) and a slim draft of just 2.1-meters. Both the design and interior of the new Onika are the work of the in-house departments at Delta. The interior of Onika, will boast custom stone and glasswork. oak timbers will be a prominent feature with honey-toned Spessart oak one of the choices...

Heesen 50-meter Project 'Azuro' build update​

50-meter Project 'Azuro' is at a very advanced stage of construction at Dutch builder Heesen Yachts. She is expected to take to the water coming on to the end of March 2014 so her build works are coming to completion and work is being focused on finishing the luxurious Francesco Pazskowski interior and final touches. Azuro is a member of the 50-meter line from Heesen with sister-yachts like "Satori", "Ventura" and "Ice Angel" already sailing the world's oceans...

Jongert 32-meter performance sloop build update​

Dutch builder Jongert has the first hull in its new Performance Line at an advanced stage in construction. New Build Canados Oceanic 90 Fast Explorer sold​

The first Oceanic 90-foot Fast Explorer yacht by Canados under construction has been sold! If you were thinking about buying that one, it is not available anymore however, you may be able to see it on display at this years Cannes Boat Show later in the year. The vessel is well advanced in construction with delivery expected to take place in June 2014. The overall aim expected for for a yacht of this type is to offer the owner with a vessel that is higher performance in nature while still allowing lower-than-usual fuel consumption. Additionally, the ability to carry sizable toys and tenders generally not allowed on a sub 100-foot motoryacht. Better communion with the ocean is expected to be increased with planned communication with indoor and outdoor regions on the three decks...

85-meter sailing yacht arrives at OceAnco for completion​

A massive 85-meter sailing superyacht currently under construction arrived at Dutch superyacht builder OceAnco's facilities recently. Ocean Alexander sells OA120' motoryacht and signs two new orders​

Ocean Alexander announced that the Ocean Alexander 120-foot motoryacht has been sold. The Ocean Alexander 120-foot Tri-deck megayacht was sold in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is the first Ocean Alexander yacht purchased by the new owners who were impressed with OA's build partnership with Christensen Yachts, Ltd.

The family plans to take the new OA120 to the Caribbean to enjoy the remainder of the winter cruising season. Afterwards, they will take the tri-deck yacht to the Mediterranean for the summer season. In other news, Ocean Alexander signed contracts for two new yachts, two 70-foot motoryachts. The first is an Ocean Alexander 78-foot which represents the second OA that this owner will have but it will be their first built directly from the factory. The other motoryacht is a 72-footer and also the second build from OA for this owner...

Third WallyCento sailing yacht in build​

Innovative Italian yacht builder Wally announces that the third hull in the WallyCento sailing series of yachts. The series is progressing well with two previous hulls completed and sailing for their respective owners. The first hull debuted the series as "Hamilton" and the second vessel was christened "Magic Carpet3". The third one, cuttently under construction is being built for an American owner.

Developed by Reichel Pugh naval architects with the exterior styling and interiors by Wally, the third wallycento differs from Magic Carpet3, designed by the same architect duo, in many aspects both technically and stylistic. Admiral Tecnomar delivers 30-meter megayacht "Zahraa"​

Italian superyacht builder Admiral Tecnomar announced the formal delivery of one of their stylish Tecnomar Nadara 30-meter motoryachts. She has been christened with the name "Zahraa". Benetti F-125 Fast Displacement megayacht in build​

Italian yacht manufacturer Benetti recently welcomed the first hull of the new F-125 Fast Displacement megayacht line to their Viareggio facilities near the end of November. The new design, if you remember, was unveiled to the public at the Cannes Show back in September and now the first hull is on track for delivery in mid 2015.

All the Fast Displacement yachts from Benetti will be equipped with the new, revolutionary D2P -Displacement to Planing keel-, that expects to combine performance of a planing keel with the comfort and quiet nature of a displacement hull, the best of both worlds. The hull is a modern and trendy one in design showcasing edgy and hip lines along its length. Look out for her delivery in June, 2015 to be precise.

Heesen 70-meter Fast Displacment superyacht​

Dutch yacht builder Heesen has formally announced the signing to build a 70-meter superyacht from the Fast Displacement line. Construction has already started with the keel laying done back in October. Design of the new 70-meter is by world renowned Espen Oeino with interior by Sinot Design. Hull number for this project is Y/N17470. Twelve guests will be accommodated in six staterooms. The large Owner’s suite, traditionally located forward on the main deck, will measure some 85 square meters and includes a generous dressing room, a spacious bathroom and a study. Four guest cabins will be located on the lower deck and a VIP cabin on the wheelhouse deck will boast stunning views. Her crew of 16 will be accommodated in 8 cabins all with private shower rooms...

Benetti launches third Crystal 140' yacht "Soy Amor"​

Italian builder Benetti launched a few yachts recently and one of them was "Soy Amor". She is the third hull in the new Crystal 140-foot series from Benetti. The 42-meter megayacht was launched in private fashion a few days ago in the presence of the owner. Soy Amor bears design from famed designer Stefano Righini, no stranger to designing Benetti yachts.

The interior was done mainly by Benetti's in-house team to the owner's satisfaction. The interior of Soy Amor can be described as being contemporary in nature. Metionable feature aboard the third member of the Crystal 140 series include a stunning backlit marble waterfall that was strategically placed in the main foyer for the maximum 'wow' factor and a sizable beach area astern.

DeltaMarine 56.40-meter "My Seanna" superyacht refit​

A well known yacht is about to start a new journey, under a new name, a new size, and new restyling. She is the megayacht that was built back in 2001 known as the 48.80-meter "Gallant Lady" by Delta Marine. She became "Newvida" along the way and now she is currently undergoing her major transformation. At the present time, this megayacht is at Rybovich where she will take on her new identity.

Once completed the 48.80-meter megayacht would have grown to an impressive 56.40-meters and be renamed "My Seanna". If that name sounds vaguely familiar, the yacht actually belongs to the same individual that owns the Benetti superyacht "Seanna". Other than having her LOA grow significantly My Seanna the interior will take on a different persona. 40-meter megayacht "Artpolars" launches in the Ukraine​

A 40-meter megayacht has launched from Ukraine-based builder Liman. She is the Ginton-design megayacht "Artpolars" and features a striking red hull. Naval Architecture is also by Ginton with interior design by Dmit Burn, 2-B-2 Architecture. Guido de Goort unveils new 50-meter motoryacht design​

Yacht designer Guido de Groot has unveiled a new 50-meter motoryacht design. The yacht spreads over four decks and has numerous areas for owner and guests to conduct their relaxation on. The owner has a dedicated owner’s deck, with a forward facing Owner’s cabin that affords beautiful vistas. The other guests onboard have a myriad of cabins that are located aft in the lower deck.

They all have access to a beach club onboard allowing them to feel and establish a connection with the sea from on that deck. The complete yacht has been designed with mobility and access for disabled users. This means that all decks are accessible via a lift and all corridors and passageways are designed to be wide enough and the many obstacles that often exist have been designed out.
