Dear Readers, I am in charge of a new build and the builder wants to use RAYTHEON ANSCHÜTZ/Synapsis NX Workstation for the bridge. I havent had any experience with these and was wondering whether anybody could enlighten me. I used Sperry marine Gyro with Transas Ecdis and Spery marine autopilot furuno radars. Now they recommend Synapsis NX Wstation ECDIS and Radar, RAYTHEON ANSCHÜTZ NautoPilot 5400, EML 224 Compact Dual Axis Water Track Log, Gate Valve (single hull), RAYTHEON ANSCHÜTZ Gyro/Gyro/Magnetic Compass system Standard 22 I am also worried for charts on these as I was told that they are not so good for approaches to bays and that they are only accurate for port approaches. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
