  1. Glimpse Into The Build Of The Westport W-117
One of the latest models, the W-117 from Westport Yachts is currently under construction and the yard provided a brief update on its progress. They say this yacht will make its debut at the 2024 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) and we are now getting an early glimpse into its formation. The W-117 is a good 'step-up' yacht for customers who have experienced the Westport 112 before, both in terms of length and altitude. This Raised Pilot House (RPH) yacht features a 2-tier sundeck with the flybridge helm a few steps above.
  2. The official overall length is 117.4-feet (35.76-meters) with a beam of 25.2-feet (7.67-meters) with a draft of 6.4-feet (1.93-meters). At half load, dual Caterpillar C32B engines should run this boat up to 24-knots with a cruising speed of 20-knots. There are to be five en-suite cabins onboard to sleep up to 10 guests. Full-width forward on the main deck. Center-line king bed. Separate “His” and “Her” bath entry for the master suite. Three have Queen beds. The exercise room (port forward) has upper and lower Pullman twin beds. Each with a private bath. 5 crew can be slept onboard as well.
  3. You can meet with Westport at the ongoing 2023 edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS). Now is a perfect time to discuss the exceptionally designed Westport W117. Hull is laid, bulkhead and tanks are in and ready for stacking the superstructure! This particular hull is well underway to being another head-turner from this renowned American yard.
