In a previous article, YF informed you about the existence of the new SC22 model to the Silver Cat lineup. https://www.yachtforums.com/threads/news-silver-yachts-expands-silvercat-offering.37785/ At the time there were renderings available showcasing the design of both the interior and exterior of this new addition to the lineup. Now we have photos of the yacht under construction. The exterior is the work of Espen Oeino while Tillberg Design of Sweden has been brought onboard as well.

Tillberg is now responsible for the interior design on the first SC22. Tillberg has a lot of volume to work with on this project as the vessel has a 10.8-meter beam even though it is just 22-meters long. Actually the SC22 has the space of a 35-40-meter monohull being in the range of 180 GT. Onboard, the SC22 will be able to sleep her guests in comfort between her wide hulls.

The yacht is presently under construction at Silver Yacht's facility in Asia. Volvo D13 engines are to be fitted and these will push the vessel to a top speed of 20-knots. Silver Yachts is also endeavoring to build the SC24 which is a slightly larger iteration. With construction already well underway on the SC22, launching should be in 2024.
