  1. 30-meter "Bijoux" Launched By Moonen Yachts
The newest yacht has been launched from Dutch builder Moonen Yachts. She is a member of the Matica family of yachts (which in turn is part of the Caribbean series) and is called "Bijoux". The yacht’s appearance is striking and beautiful with her finished grey hull and white superstructure blended between black and grey accents. The design is by Rene van der Velden with an interior by the Adam Lay Studio.
  2. With Bijoux’s launch, she now extends the platform the popular Moonen 97 laid years ago. “As launch customers for this model, the owners have had a significant influence on the design and layout of the first Matica,” says project manager Nicky van Zon. “Although they have visited the yard on a number of occasions during the build, they were delighted that the yacht looked even better in the water than they had imagined.” It represents a fantastic end to the yacht's construction life.
  3. The interior layout is slightly different with respect to the location of the master suite. With panoramic glazing wrapping the forward main deck, one would assume the master suite would take residence here but the owner’s suite is actually on the lower deck. It is midships and utilizes the full beam of the hull. There are two other guest cabins on the lower deck as well. The VIP-grade suite is situated upstairs on the forward main deck.
  4. Moonen says now that Bijoux is in the water, the race is on to have her outfitted and prepared for sea trials. Delivery to her owner is scheduled for June so the schedule is tight. Moonen also has another project in the Caribbean series which is available for new owners. The hull of the first 'Martinique' motoryacht is almost completed and her superstructure is taking shape. Parties interested in taking over this 37-meter build are encouraged to contact the yard directly. We look forward to seeing Bijoux sailing the world’s oceans after delivery.
