  1. Work On Project 'Aquarius' Commences At Mengi Yay
Work has commenced on build number N93 at Turkish builder Mengi Yay. The build is also going by the project name 'Aquarius' and features Naval Architecture via Ginton Naval Architects and exterior design by Oğuzhan Güler. Not very surprising is the construction process on this particular build is using Wooden Laminated Expoxy with cold molded method; quite regularly utilized by this yacht builder. The design involves three full internal decks plus an open-air sundeck covered largely by a hard top.
  2. On the interior there is a layout suitable for accommodation to up to eight (8) guests plus her owner, so that is up to ten non-crew persons overall. The crew number just under ten should be housed in four cabins. The propulsion package is offering twin CAT C32 engines each cranking around 1,450 horse power. With this set-up top speed is calculated to be 15-knots with a cruising speed 12-knots drawing from 33,000 LT capacity fuel tanks. Project Aquarius is RINA classified and is expected to weigh in at around 300 tonnes. 45-meters is the LOA, 9.00-meter Beam and a draft of just 2.50-meters round out the three principle dimensions.
