Our front three panels are Makrolon, an EZ2CY equivalent. In our installation, I can easily flip up the center panel and peg it to the hardtop. There's some slight bending involved, to get that panel clear of the zipper/hook-and-eye-overlay attachment system on the bottom and two sides, but that's no problem in normal temps. In very cold weather, that might stress the material... but in very cold weather I have no reason to lift the panel in the first place. In our installation, all panels around the front of our bridge are connected to a valence system, so any individual panel can be unzipped and completely removed for cleaning or storage, etc. IOW, if I really needed to remove a panel in very cold weather, unzipping it at top, bottom, and sides would place no stress (from slight bending) on the Makrolon. Edit: ours are from 2009, no issues. -Chris
