Beginner Yacht

    What is a good beginner yacht for a lake. I wont have a crew so it cant be huge and preferably on the cheaper side.
    Im new to the forum btw.

    Depending on the size of the lake, I'd recommend something in the 28'-36' range. At 28' you're into twin motors, and that makes docking sooooo much easier. Up to 36' is easy to handle, maintain, maneuver and find dockage for.
    Now, for style or make I'd need more information. Like how many people you'll generally have on board, mostly fishing or mostly cruising, will you be over-nighting or mostly day cruising, Is the lake Lake Huron or a 10 acre pond in the back woods, what's the average size of the boats you see there?
