    Interested in asking USCG licensed Captains if they are members of the American Professional Captain Association if they are US citizens (or foreign captains if that is allowable)... if you're not a member and can be > Why not?

    No. It does nothing for independent yacht captains except lighten their wallets. If anything boat owners should enroll their captains and pay the associated expenses since only they benefit from it. I did more to raise and stablize rates in this area myself with a small local association. Working boats since 1988 I've found that there are more organizations and people with their hands out than you can shake a stick at.

    I agree with NYC. It's not like APCA is Masterbates and Pirates.
