    Does anyone of you good gentleman know what would be the best service manual possible for my 1993 6-92 TA as well as who sells them. I am hoping there is something specific to this engine which was marinized by DD.

    Find a real DDC shop. With your serial numbers the whole delivery description and part list can be obtained. Order list and illustrated part breakdowns can be ordered also.

    Money saving service manuals with updates can be found on e-bay. CDs mailed to you in a couple of days.
    The heavy paper manuals can be found here also.

    Mr Crapps is correct as usual. I got mine with parts catalogs on e-bay.

    Can you please provide me with ID information for the said publications , there seem to be a great variety. In your opinion , would this be sufficient for me to do liners and pistons , head re conditioning , valve and injector timing , and other maintenance and service info....

    Detroit Diesel Parts Catalog vol 1 & 2. 6SP120 9009
    These are dated July 19190.
    Detroit Diesel Series 92 Service Manual. two large binders; 6SE379 8810 . Dated October 1988.
