thanks to all who have replied to my query, the mystery deepens this isn't 'the one' that i saw ! it was a sort of light orange / brownish colour for want of a better description,i cannot say i have seen any vessel that colour before, from the distance i saw it from i would say it was around 20+ metres long with an open flybridge with a large sunbathing area behind it, the upper deck & seating area were finished in white ,i didn't have my camera so unfortunately i have no pictures to go by,but it was a very striking looking vessel with very clean uncluttered lines.

Hi,

I just searched a very comprehensive online database of boat names and the only one just called The One is the boat shown in the pics above the Lurssen, Ex Carinthia.

hello again, well amg it is a very similar colour but the one i saw was about 5 times the size,my major problem is i don't know an awful lot about super yachts and the differences in design concepts, she had an open bridge and a very graceful look to her thats about the only way i can describe her,and looked incredibly expensive,i tried to look for her at the club de mar marina the following week but i didn't see the boat again,i ended up according to my wife looking like boating equivelent of a train spotter !! because i was writing down the names of all the amazing craft moored there. and believe me there were hundreds to choose from.the one thing i am certain of she was named 'the one'

Hi,

If you are sure of the name and the location I will call the Club de Mar and ask for the boat as well as asking my colleagues if they have seen such a craft.

All I want to add is "pictures speak a thousand words" in trying to track an as yet unknown vessel

thanks K1W1,any info would help, hopefully it is moored at the club de mar on a regular basis, but knowing my luck it was probably just visiting!if i owned something like that it would hardly ever be in a marina, there would appear to be another 2 marina's next to the club de mar, there is the marina port de mallorca and the real club nautico,it could have come from one of these,i first saw her entering the bahia de palma,i am kicking myself for not having my camera with me.

there is a 32m Baglietto called "One" or "The One". Perhaps that is what you saw.

hello techmati, thankyou for your reply,it could well be the baglietto built 'the one'do you or anyone else out there have a picture of this vessel,it should then clear up the mystery.
