We are in the market for a boat with the following criteria, 36'-40' less than $100,000. The boat will be used primarily for fishing off the coast of California and to stay in when we visit our family in that area for up to 2 weeks at a time. We would like either a Trawler or Sportfisher with a aft cabin and flybridge. Any positive or negitive feedback on Tollycraft, Carver, Silverton, Searay, Bayliner or Tiwan trawlers etc. would be appreciated.

I happen to have a Carver for sale in that price and size category! She is 39' LOA and sleeps up to 8. Not sure about fishing off of her, never done that and no interest/knowledge in that but she has been a terrific boat with many upgrades including a 7" color fish finder/gps/chartplotter. Just search for Carver 33/350 and it should pop up if your interested.
