The black marine tender is "Air's" as well?

Certainly not a Fjord 40. Just doesn't look the same aside from general hull shape.

Also, Feadship states 2 - 9.8 meter tenders.

It's trivia time! Does anyone know why.....

Eurocopter EC-135 has the trademark "Fenestron" tail rotor assembly, whereas Eurocopter (?) EC-145 has twin booms and an exposed tail rotor? Is it possible that the Eurocopter EC-145 is actually a MBB, made in Germany? "Enquiring minds" want to know........... :D

Many thanx, K1W1! Gee, who'd a' thunk it? A German airframe with French reactors and US electronics. Patton must be spinning in his grave! But hey, it works for me! :D

And hey - they're even gonna put a French Fenestron on it!
Now Willie Messerschmidt (sp?) is spinning in his grave. I am loving this!

The EC135 is a pure German design, which started out as the "MBB Bo108" prior to the merger of Germany's MBB with France's Aerospatiale - it was the first model of the combined company to have an "EC" name. It can have engines from Turbomeca (France) or Pratt & Whitney Canada. The example photo'd on the back of AIR has the Canadian engines - and an Isle of Man registration to boot!

The EC145 is a development of the older MBB BK117 German/Japanese design in association with Kawasaki - hence the "BK" name. Has been very successful with a US military order (they call it the UH-72A Lakota). At the main helicopter trade show of the year in the US this spring a new model was launched EC145T2 which will have the Fenestron tail rotor.

Yet more great pics Daniel. I really do like Palladium.

Also, I think Hokulani is now known as O'khalila. Unless I am mistaken and there are 2 gold PJ's running about.

Thanks for letting us see Gibraltar through your and your fathers camera.

There were two gold-ish lookin PJ 150s, O'Khalila, was the first in the 150 series and is the gold one, "Hokulani" is more of a bronze/brass colour...pictured above.

Thanks Ron. I hadn't known there were two. Had just noticed recently, O'khalila is for sale and charter and had not seen Hokulani anywhere.

Thanks for more great pics of Sunrays Daniel. It is still one of the best looking in my opinion.

Both were launched in 2007, Hokulani is slightly darker and is setup for 10 passengers in 5 cabins while O"Khalila is .18m shorter and carries 12 passengers in 6 cabins.
