Just took in a 34 foot sea ray sundancer 1986 model. Freshwater boat great shape but wood is heavily worn in cabin and cockpit. Going to sell her so do not want to remove, sand and refinish. Any other options??
Teak Oil can hide a multitude of sins on decks and toerails. Dings in the wood can be taken out with a steam iron and a damp cotton rag. Liberon or Brummer Wood Stopping can fill many gaps and cracks, get the shade right. And the final insult to the buyer, brown or neutral boot polish. Yes, they really can't tell sh** from Shinola. (Just don't ask me how I know any of this stuff)
Fish, you've had a misspent youth. Remind me to never buy a used anything from you. "Dings in the wood can be taken out with a steam iron and a damp cotton rag."??? That's a new one on me. Clean and oil the outside teak and use some polyurethane on the interior wood. Remember, it's an '86 SR. You don't want to hide too much wear or it will look suspicious.
used car sales fish I think FISH sold me a car in a previous life. Oh, I see it now, don't ask how he knows this stuff.... NEVER MIND>>>> ,rc
