    Hey Guys,

I want to move both engines to the starboard tank and use the generator off the port tank.

When do I move the selector switch? While running or before start?

What do you think? What has been your experience?

I have 3 manual knobs under the dinette...

    Thank you!

Doesn't matter... You can do it running or stopped.

Yea, as Pascal said it doesn't matter when you change tank selection. Just wondering why, and is it going to be normally set that way? Not sure about your boat, but the generator fuel pick up is normally higher in the tank so it would never cause you to run out of fuel I think, if that is a concern. What you might get is listing though as the weight becomes uneven between tanks. Just today I was noticing a 4 deg list towards stbd because the tank was full, and port was 3/4, so I selected stbd tank for both engines and genny until they're even again.
