What size packing for rudders??

    I have a 1980 Post 42. I need to know what size packing I need for the rudders. The boat is an hour north, so I don't want to head up there with the wrong size. And do the shafts take the same size?

    Doubt you'll find many who have packed their rudder posts. For as little as it costs. bring various sizes.

    This and just return the size you don't use.

    As cheap as it is I'd just keep the extra aboard. Never know when it could come in handy.
