Constitution is a lot calmer, but Yacht Haven is MUCH more convenient for walking around town.

On our recent passage from the Caribbean to Lake Michigan, we stopped for 2 nights and tied up in Constitution. It's a quick cab ride over the bridge to get down town to any of the spots you wish to visit (we took the kids to the museums, grabbed some non-boat food, took in some sights, etc.) Constitution was also a buck a foot less than Yacht Haven (transient rates). YH (IMO, YMMV) is more of a 'who's who' type marina in the area. Both are very nice and accommodating.

I wouldn't hesitate to tie up at Constitution again, nor would I frown at Yacht Haven. Which marina is best is perhaps a subjective opinion for each to decide.
