What color is the gelcoat?

    I've got some scratches and nicks on my 88 55SS and thought I would try this MagicEZY 9 second fix. I just can't figure out what color the gelcoat is. Why does there need to be so many different Whites?

    Oyster White...paint. I don't think Ocean used gelcoat, but rather some type of two part paint like Awlgrip etc...

    Thanks! I bought some of that magicEZY in oyster white and it arrived today. Will try it tomorrow when I go.

    I know the top sides of mine are painted but wasn’t sure if that was factory or not.

    Whatever the color on your deck is, it is nothing near the color that came out of the can Ocean used to paint it. Paint changes color and fades as time and UV go on, your best bet is to tint the paint to match at the boat.
