The m/y Evviva is the second Westport 164 to be built. She is verry nice.. basically the same lines as the Vango (the first 164'). She is easy to distinguish from the Vango. The Vango is black and white white the Evviva is Grey and white.. which i think went pretty nice interms of colour harmony. She carries a small chopper on the aft sun deck. To accomodate this tender if you will..they carried forward the mast and Bimini hard top a good couple feet. If you remmeber, the Vango's aft part of the Bimini is hinged so it can raise up to give clearance for the helo's blades. They fixed this dilema apparently with the Evviva. I would like to see some more pics of this vessel though.. i was looking around the Westport website just now but i did not find anything regarding the Evviva. It would be nice to see how she differs on the interior from the Vango and by the way, Vango has a Great interior.
#2 Westport 164 - first pics on website hi, i was just looking on westports webpage, when i found some new pictures of the second 164 westport. very nice with some running shots and some interior pics.

My New Ride Hi Guys. There are big changes on the horizon for my fiancé, Kaveen, and me. After nine years aboard Rena (ex Curt C) we'll be beginning our post aboard Evviva in August. Since I see that the Westport yard has sold, http://www.yachtforums.com/forums/general-yachting-discussion/23056-westport-yachts-aquired-chouest.html I'm hoping the boss will have plenty of free time to enjoy some extended cruising!
You'll sure be with a lot of boating history. The man who completely changed the small boat market, made boating affordable to the masses. Then Pacific Mariner and Westport. And a man who has conducted himself ethically and professionally throughout his career. The Westport story sure is a nice contrast to the other recent big story in boatbuilding in the PNW.
Perhaps Carl will be needed, too. Helicopter takes off of Yacht - 164' (49.71m) Westport Shipyards Yacht "EVVIVA" - YouTube
EVVIVA is now Westport hull# 5012. Hull #5002 is now renamed ASTARA, and is waiting for a new owner. Meanwhile, 5012 is undergoing some modifications in order to meet the boss' needs and we should be cruising in March.
