  1. "18 Reeler" Delivered By Weaver BoatWorks
Weaver BoatWorks made headlines when they started construction and then subsequently launched their largest build to-date, the 97DC "18 Reeler". Since launching, the flagship has been delivered to her owner -that took place at the end of 2018-. The yard has now provided interior photos of their flagship showing the striking craftsmanship and the palette involved.
  2. The main salon is perhaps the first place you will enter from the aft cockpit. Immediately the woody and softer tones strike as a relaxation room where multiple seating zones greet you. The galley is not far from the action; fully equipped to serve the space well. Even a small bar is established on the outside of the island counter. Large windows front the galley so you could prepare and cook a meal with a view.
  3. The natural woody theme continues into the guest accommodation on the lower deck. With this vessel being nearly a 100-footer, there is decent space in the hull. The master suite is located midships taking advantage of the 7.21-meter beam of the hull. The master has an oval window on both sides while none of the other accommodation has. The large bed is placed centrally which allows for a small desk area to one side and a sofa-seating area on the other. Soft furnishings and carpeting help create the perfect private oasis for the American owner.
  4. The bathroom is also pretty decent on space and amenities. Double vanities in the main space also provide storage for miscellaneous items. There is ample mirrored real estate at head-level and the full standup, glass-in shower with all you could need on a yacht of this platform. Note the matching woodwork theme to the rest of the yacht.
  5. On the forward end of the highest internal deck you will find the enclosed bridge. It is a great setup with a row of four large displays showing everything you need at a fingers tip. The view is also important and being up high the vantage point is good especially over the bow. The large expanse of glass is only interrupted by a few support pillars.
  6. The aft part of the enclosed flybridge serves as a relaxation area/skylounge with the ability to serve because of the small kitchenette to the side. Instead of having to head downstairs to the main galley you can warm up in the built-in microwave, make drinks and more. There appears to be a television opposite the main seating area too.
  7. 18 Reeler has an LOA of 97.58-feet with a beam of nearly 24-feet. The draft is slim (just over 6 feet) allowing the owner to take the boat to the Bahamas which is where they are headed at the moment. 15,900 LT of fuel will feed her pair of MTU 16V 2000 marine diesels. Exterior design as well as Naval Architecture is by Donald L. Blount. Being a sportfishing vessel, 18 Reeler has two main fishing rigs as well as several rod-holders and live bait wells.
