Josie ask me last night when Walkers was re-opened.
Uh?? I've not heard a thing.

Shows me videos of new docks and a big asp yacht moving in.
    Uh??

Seems to have been built up this year.
    Uh??

Has a line of web videos.

It was a great SF hub.
When I was young that whole area was near a second back yard to explore in.
5 - 6 years ago I idled by and spent the rest of the day crying.

Anybody been by / thru Grand or Strangers Cays after the storm? The folk, Rosies and channels hold up?

Couldn't help but notice all those Hatts and Berts in the video.

Sure is a pretty sight. Those pics over 20 years old.

I spent a month helping rebuild Grand after the storm. They're coming back nicely.
And yes, the channels held up. No deaths from the storm. Rosies docks were wiped out, but I'm pretty sure they are rebuilt now.

And I can say from personal experience that Carl Allen is the real deal good guy. I worked in coordination with him and his group for a month, and he has the best interest of Walker's Grand at heart.

I was never there during any of the big tournaments. A friend's father ran a John Allmand fish boat out of there for many years. I was usually onboard.
By the time the boat wash washed off, the lookers had already gone in and put clothes back on for dinner.
That's where dreaming of faster, bigger boats started for me (still dreaming).

I don't know or know of him till Josie found these videos. Seems like his heart is really into it.
Great wishes for him. Just hope it's not to over priced for us dreamers.

Oh, I've been in / out on a Cessna 172 on that strip (long ago also). Sphincter factor of about 9.
Hope he fixes that back up (if not already) also.

The runway is fine. We were flying personnel in/out using it after Dorian.

    Excellent.
Next ole friend has a 182. Maye a new feature on our flights in / out of the islands.
Hindsight curse; Wish I did that flight school thing. I did everything on this 182 but pay the bills nor have the license. Maybe another thread I'll expand.
Last pics of Marsh still looked sad. Treasure looks better and lots of cheap lots available.
Both airports here report good. Spanish reports good also.
I used to hit them all.
