    Has anyone heard of a throttle issue with these engines? An acquaintance with new, newly installed engines told me he was approaching a pier at slow speed when the throttles suddenly failed to control engine speed, and the engines could not be put in neutral.

    Hi,

    This is fairly typical of an EVC Glitch that was causing problems to a few boats a while ago.

    Volvo replaced a lot of electronics before things settled down.
