Howdy! Can anyone shed some light on the propeller sizing for the Viking 40 convertible fitted with 350 Crusaders? Would greatly appreciate this info, quite difficult to track down.

    Cheers.

Thread has been moved to the Viking Sportfish forum for better indexing.

I hope you mean 350hp and not CID.

I have seen the 40 Viking with 454 cid/350 hp Crusaders. Even with the 454s that is a lot of boat for a 40' convertible.

I don't know what prop size, but I would guess you would be in the 19x17 range, with 1 3/8-1 1/2" shaft.

Yeah thanks mate, I know they came out with 350hp Crusaders, reason for the need of the info Is because I am refitting a comparable Aussie built boat and fitting stroked Chev BB engines, the Viking is the closest comparable boat and one I would have bought had this one not come up as I'm a fan of the Viking boats. I'll try to have that prop size verified to compare with what the propulsion bowfins over here are specifying for the job.
