    On the Vandutch 40 that has no generator, does the air conditioner work on the batteries?


    If yes for how long do they last?

    What ad are you looking at.
    All but one states "Generator (Standard with USA 60 Hz)".

    One ad does state Gen-set "optional".
    I'm sure here the listing broker just does not know better.

    It’s a used one that I’m looking to buy but has no generator , works on shore power, tried googling it but can’t find anything about it

    I think you will find the answer is no .
    It’s batt bank is just too tiny for a inverter to power up that AC .
    Needs shorepower.
