USS Intrepid Props stuck today

    I was just driving home and heard on the radio that two tugs were supposed to move her today for rehab but had to abort due to her props getting stuck.

    Ralph, Heard from sources in NY that it took up to 7 tugs to try and pull, but it only moved about 15 feet and settled back in. Even though they dredged a channel from the slip to the center of the Hudson, the props dug into the mud, holding her up. They may have to make her a bit lighter and wait for the next month's full moon tide.
