I have read the operation manual several times and tried different settings but still dont feel like I'm getting the most out of the unit to locate birds. Any advice. Thanks
Hi, I don't envy your position having been around the world on a yacht with a pair of Furuno FAR or FR 2805's (It was a while ago and can't recall exact model) that would not see ships several times our size and would have power supplies that just failed for no apparent reason - try arriving in Singapore just before dawn in the mist with no radars. The support for those was only from Aberdeen in Scotland which had it's own set of issues.
