    last year we sailed the tall ship race with the windrose. the weather was very bad, but we won and we arrived 2 days earlyer than the second ship. i hope some people have some own made photo's of the windrose. please send them to me. thanks

    Hi,

    I don't have any photos of your boat but my wife and I used to own a house in Tynemouth that overlooked the entrance to the Tyne, she got some great video of this and the last Tall Ship Rendezvous in the North East from our front room.( I was away working at the time)

    The last one (2005) was poor for the shore based spectators owing to the bad viz and foggy( sea fret) conditions quite typical for that time of year.
