suggestions for engine swapout?

    I'm thinking of replacing the dead engines in my '63 CC Roamer Offshore with working engines. The old engines are big obsolete CC "W" engines. I talked to the guy Mitch La Pointe back in Michigan who has some somewhat smaller rebuilt CC engines that would fit my boat without serious modification. I 'd rather have diesel engines, however, but I don't know how much modificationthey would take to put in. Any suggestions on what diesel engines would be good for my boat? Or should I just go with the CC rebuilt engines from Michigan, because it would be a huge mess to modify for diesel? thanks, Tom in Seattle

    can't go wrong with Detroit's, but rebuilts would be 10 times easier!!!
