1998 SubZero freezer works great but, this weekend the water flow stopped. Noticed the timing on the gear is always in the same place, just past the heating point. Does not open to add water. Any suggestions?

19 years old???? I would verify the temperature of the freezer, if it's not cold enough it won't make ice, but it's probably the mold assembly.

If the gear isnt moving, the motor is not getting power or it's burned out. Check for power, should be a few test ports right below the gear.

The solenoid to allow water is controlled by the timing gear, so you won't have power there unless the gear is in the proper position.
