   I have a 2002 Hatt 55C with Cat 3412e 1400 hp. Intermittent issue with port side, bump throttle in forward, and it actuates reverse. Boat has cockpit controls, ( second station) same issue , port side only. Back to neutral, and then forward works. Called Sturdy and they are scratching their heads. Any ideas/experience with this?

   Same issue from different controls on same engine?
   Suspect the common link.
   
   Bad connection.
   Low voltage.
   Bad controller or ECM.
   
   New issue or long going?
   Any beeps and or light codes when it happens?
   Firmware in rev?
