    11:30 Tuesday a.m. Don't miss it!
Hopefully the weather improves. "60% chance of a weather violation".
I am getting on a plane with my wife, 5 year old son & 3 year old daughter later today to go watch. We have passes to watch the launch from 6 miles away at the Kennedy Visitor Center.

Dave, your kids will absolutely be thrilled.
As close as I am geographically, I have never been up for a launch, due mostly to sloth.

Many folks may not know what 'STS' stands for and I certainly didn't until, about ten years ago, I sold a boat to [I'll not mention the name here] the guy who rode Space Transportation Systems # 41 and # 49 up into the heavens.

He was a regular guy and I so asked him what the most exciting part of the ride was. The lift-off isn't too bad, he had said, it's when the boosters kick in that really gets your attention.
