I know there is one but I can't find a board to source a first mate out of FTL.
One day trip from FLL to Nassau to help me position the 56' boat. Tie it up, do a wash and fly back same day.
    Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

That is a very long day, for a day mate. Do-able IF everything goes perfectly, if not you're spending a lot of money on plan B. The trip, clearing customs, etc. But generally a day mate or Captain etc., a day and a day's pay is considered 8 hours.....10 at the most. I'm guessing the SF in the picture...…5 hours to get there, another 1-2 hours clearing customs (you want to pull into CAT Cay and clear there if you want to achieve this), 3-4 hours washing, an hour to get to NAS, 2 hours sitting at NAS airport, an hour flight to FLL, an hour to get home...…. You're talking a 15 hour day for someone. You may want to pay someone else to wash. I have someone that's good in NAS that can wash the boat. I can probably find you someone as a mate.

It is a long day. I always clear at Atlantis and the boat wash with both of us is probably 2 hours. No issue paying more than the day rate. I haven't used crew a lot but when I have they always want to get home at night if they can.

I have cleared in Atlantis many many times, and usually it's pretty quick, around an hour for them to show up. However a few times, I haven't gotten cleared until many hours later.....and twice at 10-11pm (after pulling in around 2-4pm). You can't count on that. At Cat, you simply tie up to the dock, walk 200' and hand the one customs/immigration guy your paperwork and it takes minutes. It's an extra $100, but it's right on the way and nearly instant. When are you heading over there as I might have a good mate, but they're leaving on a 61' Viking to head North (just a delivery) soon.

I second clearing at Cat. We always do and Are usually in and out of the marina in under 30’

I ve cleared in NAS a few times, it can take anywhere from an hour to 5 for both customs and immigration to show up
