    Good morning.
    1985 32” Carver Aft Cabin.
Was power washing boat using an electric power washer.
Suddenly the power washing shut off. I recent power washer then it went off again. Looked in boat in electric panel and it showed I was no longer on ac input, showing on inverter/charge.
Checked cables with different shore power boxes and even used neighbors cable. Still no shore power. Thoughts?

Do you have power at the box? If so check your main breakers. You may have tripped them with the power washer spray?

Start at the source, grab a meter and check for power at the end of the power cord. Then at the panel. Most boats have either a breaker or a fuse where the shore power inlet is. It s an ABYC requirement of the main breaker on the panel is more than 8’ from where the shore power enters the boat. Sometimes it s just inside sometimes it s inside a shore power cover next to the inlet.

Power good on shore power cord.
I have a “Heart Interface” unit for the inverter.
Shoes inverter/charging light lit. Shows I have a/c power, however, the ac input light is not lit. This indicates no shore power. When I unplug the shore cable, the 120 volts still shows as it is coming from inverter. Reset GFCI from outlet that electric power washer was coming from. Still unable to get who’re power into boat.

Get an electrician to check your problem. Too dangerous an item to be fooling with.

As I said check for a breaker or fuse near the shore power inlet.

This, it's a 32' boat...….follow the wires! Look behind where the shorepower cord is and follow it to the panel...…..it's a breaker most likely.

Some newer marina installations have a
gfci that feeds the outlet you plug your shore power cord into ( very sensitive ).
You need a meter or some one who knows how to use one. As Pascal says, start at the source and follow.

OP doesn't sound knowledgeable about electricity. And that's ok, but that's why I suggest he have an electrician take a look if its not a simple breaker.

That's likely. When we were in Fort Pierce, their new docks had very sensitive GFI which tripped on nearly every boat with an inverter.
