I am looking at boats in the Med France/Italy in the 70-80' range expres cruiser type Leopard 24 is the first choice?

Anyone have current or recient pricing on shipping? I guess deck cargo? Float on but that sound like an expensive service. This is just tire kicking, no idea if this is viable for a boat this size?

Not sure on pricing, but deck cargo is about 10-20% cheaper, maybe more for a boat that size. Just don't be on a time schedule, they are notoriously late with loading, sometimes by weeks!
DYT is defenitely more expensive, but there schedules are more reliable.
In addition, not all deck load ships can provide water and electricity, might not be an issue with a boat that size

About 2 years ago I looked into shipping a 46 spt. fish to Fl. from France. $50,000. Scheduling would have also been a problem and then came the question of the possibility of any leans, and the boat was sold to another.
