I am looking for a tech who can service a Northern Lights 20kw Gen in the Stuart Fl area.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

I need to find an oil leak. I think it might be coming from a front seal but I can't see it due to the PTO runs off the front and blocks my view of the front.

Oil leak in the front. With crank driven PTO.

As many times I thought is was a front seal leaking it was always the raw water pump shaft seal, raw water pump mount O ring or the oil fill assembly behind the raw water pump drive gear.

Mostly the gasket to the oil fill assembly behind the raw pump drive gear.
When the raw pump is removed, this gasket gets abused and never replaced.

Ok. Thanks so much for your response. I don't think I need to remove the PTO to get to this pump but I am not on the boat to take a look. Thank you!

Typically PTO pumps go straight off the crankshaft aweigh from the engine. This gasket is on the side of the engine, under the injector pump.

If you are a Do It Yourselfer (DIY), this should be an easy check wiping your finger under the gasket's bottom edge.
Post some pictures and we may be able to help more.
