    Greetings-

We are taking delivery on a Beneteau 57 later in the year, so I'm going over my list, checking it twice, etc. etc. etc.

Being an avid diver, one thing that remains open is the compressor for filling scuba tanks, while at sea. I have been doing a bit of research on the topic, and have come to fine two in particular that I'm leaning towards, but wanted to open a thread to hopefully get some input, ideas, thoughts, considerations, etc.

    I've looked at the Max-Air 35:
    http://www.max-air.com/maxair02.html

And have also looked at RIX compressors:

I'm hoping to hear from anyone who has gone through this in outfitting a sail boat or yacht with a scuba tank compressor.

    My general requirements are:
    Size over performance (compact footprint)
Electric over Fuel / Diesel (Electric is key. One less motor to maintain / carry fuel for)
Efficiency over Speed. (CFM / Volume)
Reliability. (Must be a unit which is stable, proven, and reliable.)
Compressed Air Only. (Do not need mixed gases / Nitrox, etc.)

Much thanks in advance for the input.

    It's called Brownies Tankfill.
