Rybovich obviously isn't a Mom & Pop boatyard anymore. Laurel is is largest I've seen here to date. Quite a sight watching her pull in.
Wow ,thats a very nice ship.I have always like a dark blue hull with beige and white .Saw one in CapeTown a while back and if (one day) I can afford it it will be that kind of paint work. Thanks for the pic. Francois
Darn boat's so big you can't fit it into the frame, heh! A couple of people called to say something big & blue was at Rybo. I just knew it was Laurel. It seems the word is getting around... Rybo Rocks!
Thanks for noticing us........obviously we are setting up to service the bigger vessels that are being delivered. We are working on getting webcam set up to our new website so you guys can keep a closer eye on the operation. We are set to pour foundation later this week for the new boatyard hard space. Meanwhile we are keeping all the boys working on Fall projects!
Westport, WA East Carl, Sorry I missed you today at Rybovich. I was home with nursing a bit of a cold. I guess you took of a tour of the East Coast Home of the Westport 130' while you were there. I've been surrounded by various versions of those boats for months. Ken
Sorry I missed you Ken. Your mate informed you were under the weather. Catching colds goes along with catching hotties! Saw some Westport's for sure, but was mostly focused on work. Master Bach spent a good part of his afternoon bringing us up to speed on Rybo's renovation. Feel better bro!
Just a heads up, Spent time with Mike B last week at the yard, doing research for a story. Lots of things happening at Rybovich, like they said it would. But it still remains a fully functioning yard/marina. So you captains/owners out there that may think that Rybo has less to offer during their renovations, no so. In fact they have already changed things to make their processes more efficient, and added some niceties for crew. But then I am getting ahead of myself. Full details will be in The Triton's March issue.
